Look after your boiler
- Put your heating (whether it’s a Combination Boiler System – Combi – or a Conventional / Standard Central Heating System) on once a month if you’re not using it to keep it running efficiently and clear the boiler pump of any grit that may gather when not in use
- Get your boilers checked once a year by a Gas Safe Registered engineer (we can do this for you).
- If you can smell gas call the National Gas Emergency Service immediately on 0800 111 999.
- Never cover your gas boiler or block the air vents. Make sure the outside flues aren’t blocked.
- Bleed your radiators regularly.
