Gas safety check
According to the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 all landlords and property agents must arrange maintenance by a Gas Safe Registered engineer for all pipe work, appliances and flues. They must also have an annual gas safety check every 12 months by a Gas Safe Registered engineer. A record of the safety check must be kept for 2 years and copies provided to tenants.
